Dr. Nath works in both experimental as well as computational domain. Presently, the research work under the mentorship of Dr. Nath is divided in three broad groups.
1. Droplet Microfluidics group
2. Hydrodynamics of Biological Cells group
3. Green Hydrogen Production group
Introduction [Biosketch]
- Dr. Binita Nath completed her B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College in 2010, MTech in Thermal Engineering from NIT Silchar in 2013 and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Guwahati in 2019. After obtaining her doctoral degree, she pursued her post-doctoral research at National Research Council, Rome, Italy for the period of January 2020 to September 2021. Apart from academic experience, she also has industrial experience working as a GET in Mahindra Engineering Services for the period September 2010 to June 2014 and also as a Product Engineer in Cummins India Limited for the period September 2013 to January 2014.

- Received SERB Travel Grant for attending the prestigious APS Fluid Division Meeting held at Atlanta, USA in 2018 .
- Received DST INSA INSPIRE Faculty Fellowship Award in 2021.
- Received SERB Start Up Research Grant (SRG) Award in 2023.
