Introduction [Biosketch]

  • Born at Tezu (Lohit District) Arunachal Pradesh in 1971, schooling from East Kameng district (Seppa) of Arunachal Pradesh 1987, studied Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Lukdhirji Engineering college, Morbi, Gujarat 1990, served as service engineer in industry till 1992, served Govt. Polytechnic Silchar from 1992-1997, studied B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from NERIST, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh (1998-2001), served Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Majitar, Sikkim (2001-2014), studied M.Tech in Control System Engineering from I.I.T Kharagpur (2005-2007), completed Ph.D. (Engineering) from Electrical Engineering Department, Jadavpur University, Kolkata (2007-2012), joined Electrical Engineering department NIT Silchar in 2014. Awarded postdoctoral fellowship by TWAS (The world academy of sciences, Italy) in the year 2014. Married to Dr. Barnali Dey since 2003 and blessed with a daughter Raajika in 2008.
