- Dr. Arjun Sil is an Associate Professor & Former Head (w.e.f.01.04.2022 to 31.03.2025) in the Department of Civil Engineering at NIT Silchar, India. He joined the institute on 27th December 2012. He holds Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India, and M.Tech in Earthquake Engineering from NIT Silchar, India and B.Tech in Civil Engineering from NERIST, Arunachal Pradesh.Nirjuli, India.
- He has over 20 years of academic and industrial experience, including serving as:
- Associate Professor at NIT Silchar (July 2022–present)

- Assistant Professor Grade-II (Dec 2012–May 2018)
