The chemistry Department was established in 1977 along with the establishment of Institute. It has been one of the best departments in terms of infrastructural facilities and faculties. It has got many well equipped labs with modern equipment ranging from the highly equipped chemistry Lab to the latest PCs in the chemistry Labs.
