Call for Paper

The CMDAYS20 aims to give the researchers an opportunity to present (Oral presentation) their work related to the topics mentioned in the scope of the conference. The interested participants need to send the extended abstract of their work. If the work is already published, the details should be mentioned in the document. After initial scrutiny, the authors will be intimated regarding the selection. The authors of the selected work need to register for the conference to allot slot in the conference for presentation.

Authors who are presenting their unpublished research work can opt for publishing it either as a proceeding (American Institute of Physics) or as a book chapter in Scopus-indexed book (Springer). Authors will get another one month of time after the conference to submit the full manuscript. The manuscript of the work will be further reviewed before publishing.

Abstract submission

The format and instruction for authors are attached along with the announcement. Authors are requested to submit their one page abstract through email attachment (MS word) to: cmdays2020@nits.ac.in. Acceptance of the abstract will be notifed through email. There will be a special session on "Hydrogen production, storage, sensing and fuel cells”.
Participants intending to send papers in this category should mention "Abstract for special session" in the subject heading while sending their abstracts.

Scope of the conference

The conference aims to cover both theoretical and experimental studies on condensed matter covering the following broad areas:

  1. Biomaterials and Bioconjugates
  2. Disordered Systems and Phase Transitions
  3. Dielectrics and Ferroelectrics
  4. Magnetism and Spintronic Systems
  5. Mesoscopic Phenomena and Junctions
  6. Nanomaterials and Nanocomposites
  7. Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos
  8. Photocatalysis and Photovoltaics
  9. Photonics and Plasmonics
  10. Semiconductors and Optoelectronics
  11. Soft Condensed Matter
  12. Strongly Correlated Systems
  13. Surface and Interface Phenomena
  14. Superconductivity and Critical Phenomena
  15. Thin Films and Devices
  16. Interdisciplinary topics relevant to condensed matter systems

Publication

Participants are having an opportunity to publish their unpublished work in either:

1. Springer Nature: As a book chapter (No processing/publication fees)

2. American Institute of Physics as a conference proceeding (With additional registration fee (approx. INR 7000) and on satisfying minimum paper criteria)
