Proposal should explore innovative and feasible ideas which highlight the
challenges faced by current India and attempt to provide a cost effective way to address them. The
projects should aim to provide creative solutions to problems faced: new and old.
Areas :
The areas/fields in which Projects (Individual and Group Projects) are invited:
• Agriculture
• Basic Sciences
• Engineering & Technology
• Health Sciences and Allied Subjects, Pharmacy, Nutrition, etc.
• Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce and Law
(Objective and Result Oriented Projects)
Eligibility :
• Participants must be bona fide fulltime students of National Institute of Technology Silchar from Undergraduate to
Doctoral Degree level.
•Participants must be below the age of 30
Project Cost :
Participants are required to include a Budget Plan in their proposal. The plan must include budget for minor
equipment needed/consumables/travel/contingencies.
Project duration: 1 year maximum
Awards and Recognitions :
• A platform to present new ideas to peers and experts at institutional level.
• A chance to present at the Zonal level of Anveshan
The 5 selected projects will be given a chance to be presented at the East Zone Convention
of Anveshan: Student Research Convention to be held on February 19-20, 2019 at Central
University of Jharkhand, Ranchi.
• Participation in the Zonal level convention may lead to an opportunity to participate in the
National Level convention. Participants successful in the National Level Convention will be
awarded gold medal.
