They are the reflection of the potential and the credibility of the institution. It would be a difficult task to shape a future without the guidance and encouragement of real experience that an alumni can give.NIT Silchar has taken the initiative to provide its students an opportunity to meet their alumni and hence an alumni association is formed benevolent encounter.

 

The Rexian-NIT Silchar Alumni Association is a registered body and is headquartered at Silchar (Assam). The main objectives of this association are:

 

•To foster links among Alumni and Institute

•Provide opportunities for development of Alumni

•Exchange of information between alma-mater and Alumni

•Promotion of professional and academic and cultural activities

•Provide career guidance to students

•Provide and enhance campus recruitment to students of NITS

•Forging contemporary technical education through establishment of specialized centers, chairs etc.
